Collaborating securely never felt so good – 2026 Trusted Partner conferences

We were delighted to recently host our Trusted Partner Conferences in Penrith and London – two fantastic events dedicated to collaboration, insight-sharing, and strengthening the relationships that make our network so powerful write Abbey Wright.

These conferences gave us the opportunity to dive deep into some key developments, including the new Cyber Essentials question set, Danzell and what it means for Cyber Essentials moving forward, Defence Cyber Certification, and how this framework can better protect your business. We also explored ThreatSure and introduced new pricing offers available exclusively to our Trusted Partners and their clients.

Representing Indelible Data at the events were Managing Director Tony Wilson, Office Manager Cheryl Smitham, Marketing Co-ordinator Abbey Wright and Junior Penetration Tester Tyson McGuirk. Together, they spent time engaging with partners, answering questions, and sharing valuable expertise.

One of the standout aspects of both conferences was the opportunity to meet so many of our partners in person – many of whom we’ve previously only connected with virtually. It was equally rewarding to reconnect with familiar faces we’ve worked with for many years.

Hearing everyone’s feedback firsthand was incredibly insightful. Being able to answer questions in person created a much more dynamic and meaningful experience compared to phone or email conversations. These face-to-face discussions allowed for deeper understanding, stronger collaboration, and more immediate support.

We are truly grateful for our amazing network of Trusted Partners and the energy, enthusiasm, and expertise they bring to these events.

Tony Wilson shared:

‘Our trusted partners have amassed a wealth of knowledge preparing clients to achieve Cyber Essentials over the years, and are key to us understanding issues that can arise when implementing the controls in certain scenarios. We then feed this back to IASME to help improve future iterations of the scheme.

Overall, the new Danzell requirements were very well received, with everyone approving of the zero tolerance approach to companies that do not enable MFA or patch their systems in a timely manner.’

Reaction to the new “second sample” requirement, for CE Plus assessments that fail initial patch tests, was positive but challenges were envisaged with the extra scheduling that will be required.

Cheryl Smitham shared:

“We had an incredible time at our Trusted Partner Conferences, connecting with partners who continue to play such an important role in our journey. The energy, insights, and open discussions made these events truly special. Thank you to everyone who joined us – we’re looking forward to building even more together.”

To thank our partners for attending, we provided personalised light-up gifts engraved with their company names, alongside goodie bags – and of course, lunch was on us. It was a small gesture to show our appreciation for the continued support and collaboration of our partner community.
