Cyber Essentials Certification Body exceeds 2500 certificates

Indelible Data offers a range of packages for Cyber Essentials certification.

Indelible Data has issued 2500 Cyber Essentials certificates since the launch of the government scheme, establishing it as one of the most successful Cyber Essentials Certification Bodies in the UK.

Demand for certification has not slowed during lockdown, suggesting companies are prioritising cyber security even during the pandemic.

Indelible Data’s Managing Director Tony Wilson said: “Our focus over the past year has been to make it as easy as possible for customers to stay secure.

“We’ve produced a unique step-by step guide to help customers understand the requirements to give them the best possible chance of achieving Certification in the face of adversity.”

Cyber Essentials certification is a simple but effective, government backed scheme that will help you to protect your organisation, whatever its size, against a whole range of the most common online threats.

A UK study found that most IT decision makers fear remote working will expose their firm to a cyber breach.

Carlisle-based David Allen IT is a Trusted Partner of Indelible Data. Its staff have been trained to help clients take the steps needed to attain Cyber Essentials certification.

Director Gary Martin said: We have seen a high percentage of our clients going through Cyber Essentials to help secure their businesses.”

Cyber Essentials Plus certification is the next level of assurance when a hands-on audit is conducted to verify security measures in place.

Nova Systems achieved Cyber Essentials Plus recently as a requirement of its many public sector and government-related contracts.

It believes the certification shows customers how hard it is working to protect their data.

Tony Swift-Hillier, ICT System Administrator Lead, said: “We were given a first-class service.

“Indelible Data advised throughout the process on what to do and how best to obtain the required end state for our accreditation in a way that minimised the operational impact and disruption to our staff.

“This was really important to us at Nova Systems as we have many consultants working remotely across Europe on many different high profile UK Government projects.”

Cumbria O&M Services Ltd also achieved Cyber Essentials Plus. Finance and security director John Garratt said: “I have found Indelible Data to be professional and easy to deal with.

“Tony Wilson’s helpful and pragmatic approach ensured we were able to meet the CE Plus standard and passed the onsite assessment conducted in a Covid secure environment. COMS are proud to work with local SME’s wherever possible and anticipate this working relationship continuing into the future.”
